Daiki Macuoka has joined Slovan Bratislava. He arrives from the Japanese club Avispa Fukuoka on a loan with an option to purchase after the end of the current season. The club's general manager Ivan Kmotrík Jr. confirmed negotiations with the 24-year-old Japanese player at a press conference on Friday. Ivan Kmotrík Jr. stated on the official Slovan website that Macuoka is coming on loan with the option of a permanent transfer.

After recent speculation, it has been confirmed that Slovan Bratislava is interested in 24-year-old Japanese central midfielder Daiki Matsuoka from Avispa Fukuoka. The club's general director, Ivan Kmotrík, stated that Matsuoka is one of several players they are monitoring and negotiating with for a potential collaboration.
