Daiki Matsuoka Transfer from Avispa Fukuoka to Slovan Bratislava

Daiki Macuoka has joined Slovan Bratislava. He arrives from the Japanese club Avispa Fukuoka on a loan with an option to purchase after the end of the current season. The club's general manager Ivan Kmotrík Jr. confirmed negotiations with the 24-year-old Japanese player at a press conference on Friday. Ivan Kmotrík Jr. stated on the official Slovan website that Macuoka is coming on loan with the option of a permanent transfer.

After recent speculation, it has been confirmed that Slovan Bratislava is interested in 24-year-old Japanese central midfielder Daiki Matsuoka from Avispa Fukuoka. The club's general director, Ivan Kmotrík, stated that Matsuoka is one of several players they are monitoring and negotiating with for a potential collaboration. Kmotrík affirmed that they are in contact with the player and are discussing a move that could happen either now or in the summer. He added that he did not want to anticipate the outcome and that the situation would change in the coming days. The Japanese footballer's contract with his club in Fukuoka runs until the summer of 2028. Matsuoka has yet to be capped by Japan and joined Avispa Fukuoka in January 2024. His current market value is €1.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
