Villarreal is reportedly one of several clubs interested in 29-year-old Japanese attacker Daichi Kamada, who will become a free agent after his contract with Crystal Palace concludes. Fiorentina is also said to be considering him. Real Sociedad has also explored signing the player, who previously played for Lazio in Serie A and Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga. Kamada joined Crystal Palace in July 2024 and has earned 51 caps for Japan, scoring 14 goals. In the 2025/2026 Premier League season, he made 28 appearances, providing one assist.
