Canadian international striker Cyle Larin is set to play this season at Feyenoord in the Netherlands on a loan deal that includes an optional purchase option for the Rotterdam team. At 30 years old, Larin transferred to Mallorca from Real Valladolid for 7.5 million euros but struggled to fit into the squad under coaches Aguirre and Arrasate. Although he was the top scorer for Jagoba Arrasate's side in the 2024/25 season, netting seven goals and providing two assists in 32 LaLiga matches, Larin will now have the chance to showcase his skills in the Eredivisie. He will be playing under Robin van Persie at a leading Dutch club that is also competing in the Europa League. It was reported that Valencia recently expressed interest in the forward, whose contract with his parent club RCD Mallorca extends until 2028. Transfermarkt lists his current market value at €3.5 million.
