According to Globo.com, various clubs, including some from Saudi Arabia, are interested in Cuiabano. The player's priority is to remain at Vasco, through either a new loan or a permanent acquisition. Vasco's president, Pedrinho, has directly told Cuiabano that keeping him in the squad is a priority for the club. A purchase option for the club is set at 10 million euros.

Following the post-season rest, Nottingham Forest plans to intensify Cuiabano's physical preparation. When Cuiabano reaches the ideal physical level, the English club will decide whether he will remain at Forest or be transferred, with the possibility of a move to another club in Marinakis's network.
