Welsh-English midfielder Cruz Allen has moved to Halifax Town from Derby County on a short-term youth loan. The 19-year-old, who made three substitute appearances for the Rams in the Sky Bet Championship last season, will join the National League side for a month to gain his first senior experience. The transfer follows a recent National League Cup match where Allen played for Derby's Under-21s against Halifax, and he will be available for The Shaymen's upcoming fixture against Altrincham. Allen has 18 caps and one goal for Wales U19, joined Derby in July 2025 and is under contract until June 2028. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €100k.
