Toulouse Football Club announced in an official statement that Cristian Casseres has extended his contract with the club until 2028. The statement mentioned his continued journey with the club after a notable start to the season. It also mentioned that the contract extension might help the club negotiate a potential transfer in a year.

Toulouse offered a contract extension to the 26-year-old Venezuelan central midfielder Cristian Cásseres and set a deadline for his decision. Cristian Cásseres must either sign the new contract with Toulouse or find a new club before the transfer window closes. Cásseres joined the club in July 2023 and has 48 caps for Venezuela. His current market value is €9.00m, according to Transfermarkt. Several clubs have been linked with the midfielder, including Sevilla, Olympique Lyonnais, and LOSC Lille.
