Burnley, a club relegated from the Premier League, is interested in Couhaib Driouech, a 24-year-old Moroccan-Dutch winger. It is reported that the player is not interested in a move to Burnley because his preference is to play for a club at the highest level, a status Burnley will not have next season. Genoa from Italy and Celta de Vigo from Spain had previously shown interest but did not continue their pursuit. Rangers are also trying to sign Driouech, but their first bid was considered insufficient as it did not approach the reported asking price of seven to eight million euros. Driouech joined his current club, PSV Eindhoven, in July 2024 from Excelsior for a reported fee of €3.5 million, and his contract runs until 2029. He has been capped nine times for the Morocco U23 national team.
