Rangers are competing with Strasbourg to sign 26-year-old Irish international Corrie Ndaba from Lecce. The French club is owned by the group BlueCo, which also owns Chelsea. Ndaba joined the Italian side 12 months ago for less than £1m and started six Serie A games last season. Rangers are seeking a new left-back after Jayden Meghoma returned to Brentford following his loan spell. A deal for Ndaba is considered affordable, even if Lecce seeks a profit on their initial investment. The defender has two caps for Ireland and a contract with Lecce until 2028. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €900k.
