Hearts are expected to sign 19-year-old Scottish attacking midfielder Cormac Daly, who is a free agent after leaving Nottingham Forest. Hearts is confident of securing an agreement for the player, who spent three years at Forest after coming through the Hamilton Accies youth system and also had a loan spell with Hereford United in the National League. In the 2025/2026 season, Daly made 24 appearances in the National League North, scoring 3 goals and providing 1 assist.
