According to Rapid's official Facebook page, the club announced the transfer of Claudiu Micovschi to FC Argeș and specified that the Bucharest club retains a percentage from a future transfer. FC Argeș's official website states that Micovschi signed a contract valid for two and a half seasons.

Claudiu Tudor, the president of Petrolul, has admitted to discussions with Rapid concerning the transfer of Sălceanu and the possibility of an exchange involving one of Claudiu Micovschi, Rareș Pop, or Cristian Ignat. Tudor stated that Petrolul has also shown interest in other players from Rapid and that an exchange is possible. He added that Micovschi, Rareș Pop, and Ignat are players Petrolul wants, and it will be seen if the transfer or transfers will be realized.
