SS Monopoli 1966 announced that an agreement was reached with Us Avellino 1912 for the temporary transfer of Claudio Manzi's sporting rights.

According to SkySport, Monopoli has intensified its contacts with Avellino to sign Italian defender Claudio Manzi. The club has reportedly overtaken Crotone, which previously seemed to be in a leading position to sign the player. Manzi, who was born in 2000 and has made three appearances in Serie B this season, is seen as a reinforcement for Monopoli's defense and a potential successor to Mirko Miceli, who is close to moving to Catania. Monopoli is determined to finalize the transfer to add the player for the second half of the season. Manzi joined Avellino in January 2025 and has a contract with the club until June 2027. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €150k.
