Ceuta's president, Luhay Hamido, stated to Ser Deportivos Málaga that he would sign many players from Málaga. He mentioned a list of players that included Spanish Centre-Forward Chupe, 21, Murillo, Adrián Niño, and Rafita. Hamido added that although Chupe and Joaquín are performing exceptionally well, he would select Adrián Niño if he could only bring one player to Ceuta. Chupe joined Málaga in January 2025, and his contract is valid until 2028. Transfermarkt lists his current market value as €6.00m.
