According to a source close to the player, there was an agreement in principle with West Ham for Christos Mouzakitis, under which Olympiacos had agreed to a loan with an obligation for West Ham to buy the player if they won promotion, but the deal was rejected by West Ham as they thought they had too many midfielders.

According to Vasilis Sambrakos, the player's side is aware of recent interest from West Ham and Brighton in 18-year-old Christos Mouzakitis. The player's ambition is to play in a major league, and he is waiting for Olympiacos to inform him about what is planned for January. Olympiacos is awaiting a significant offer for the midfielder, who is under contract until 2029.
