Levski's central defender Christian Makoun has agreed to personal terms with Trabzonspor. Negotiations between the 'Blues' and the club that finished third in the Turkish Süper Lig are described as positive. Trabzonspor had previously shown interest in the 26-year-old Venezuelan international during the winter, but a transfer was not completed as 'Gerena' was unwilling to sell key players during their title challenge. The Turkish club is seeking to reinforce its central defense as they plan to sell Arseniy Batakhov and bring in younger players for their defense, with one of their main defenders, Stefan Savic, being 35. The move has reportedly been approved by Trabzonspor's coach, Fatih Tekke, and Levski is expected to ask for a transfer fee of around 3 million euros. Makoun, who has been capped 15 times for Venezuela, joined Levski in July 2024 and his contract runs until June 2027. In the current 2025/2026 season, he has made 19 appearances in the efbet Liga, scoring one goal and providing two assists. His market value is currently estimated by Transfermarkt to be €3.00m.
