Belgian centre-forward Christian Benteke, 35, has signed with Al-Wahda in the United Arab Emirates, a month after his departure from DC United. Benteke's choice for Al-Wahda was mainly motivated by private circumstances, as his children have lived in Dubai while he played in the United States for the past 3.5 years. The former Belgian international has earned 45 caps and scored 18 goals for his country. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €1.50m.
