Africafoot reports that Chiheb Laabidi is being considered by Gil Vicente for a transfer. Nacional president Rui Alves confirmed to Record that there have been contacts from Gil Vicente regarding the acquisition of Chiheb Laabidi. The player had shown some interest in leaving Nacional at the start of the season if an interesting proposal appeared for himself and the club. Chiheb Laabidi now considers leaving Nacional a very serious option to play more minutes and further his development.

Tunisian central midfielder Chiheb Labidi, 25, could leave CD Nacional before the end of the summer transfer window. He wants to change clubs to secure more playing time due to dissatisfaction with his limited role at the start of the season. Gil Vicente and Rio Ave in Portugal, along with second-division Spanish club Granada, are monitoring his situation. Labidi's contract with CD Nacional runs until 30 June 2027. His market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be 500,000 euros. Although no official offers have been made public, the player's desire for a move might accelerate discussions. He joined the club in September 2024 and has yet to be capped by the Tunisian national team.
