Defender Chey Dunkley, who was born in Wolverhampton, completed a loan move to the struggling National League side Solihull Moors from Chesterfield. The transfer was finalised just hours before he was included in the team for his debut against Woking, where he formed a new defensive partnership with Carter Pinnington. The pair contributed to a 4-2 victory. Moors assistant boss Andy Cooper praised their strong debuts. Cooper stated that they handled the contest well, won their headers, and were brave in the box.
