The negotiation for Matteo Dagasso's move to Venezia is slowing down because of complications with the technical counterparts involved. The deal was intended to include both Cheick Condé and Daniel Fila transferring to Pescara. The main problem is that Condé, a 25-year-old Guinean international, is unconvinced by the proposed move to Pescara and is delaying his decision. The situation is also complicated by strong interest from the Austrian club Linz, which is working to sign the midfielder. Condé, who has 10 caps for his country, joined Venezia in January 2025 and is under contract until June 2027. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €1.60m.
