Sunderland are interested in signing Charlie Cresswell from Toulouse to improve their defensive unit. Former scout Mick Brown mentioned that it wouldn't be surprising to see Cresswell return to the Premier League, potentially for at least double the fee Toulouse paid Leeds United for him last year. Sunderland, having been promoted to the Premier League, are looking for quality additions to their squad.
