Espanyol has confirmed that 29-year-old Congolese-Swiss midfielder Charlie Pickel will depart after the conclusion of his loan spell. The Catalan club also confirmed on a Friday that the player will return to the Italian side Cremonese. His contract at Cremonese expires on June 30, 2026. During his time in Spain, Pickel made six starts across all competitions. The DR Congo international has earned 33 caps and scored one goal. His current market value is €2.50m, according to Transfermarkt.
