Cristiano Ronaldo, who recently acquired a stake in Almería, reportedly wants the club to sign Real Madrid Castilla's Spanish player César Palacios. According to a report from Fichajes, Ronaldo will advocate for the signing of the attacking midfielder. Almería, who are currently in a strong position for promotion from La Liga 2, are said to have reacted positively to the advice, impressed by Ronaldo's direct involvement with the club. Palacios has registered 13 goals and three assists for Los Blancos' third-tier academy team this season and has also made three appearances for the senior side. While several other clubs are observing the 21-year-old, Real Madrid have not yet decided on his future, with possibilities including a loan or a sale in which the club would likely retain some control over the player. Palacios, who joined Real Madrid Castilla in July 2023, has a contract that runs until June 2027 and a current Transfermarkt market value of €6.00m. He has also made 12 appearances for Spain's U19 team, scoring seven goals.
