Anderlecht are encountering difficulty in their efforts to sell 25-year-old Mexican winger Cesar Huerta because although there is interest from Toluca, the player wants to remain in Europe. It was reported in June 2026 that the Belgian club's asking price for the player, who has 27 caps for his country, was €6 million, an increase on the €2 million they paid for him in January 2025. Huerta's current market value is €3.50m, according to Transfermarkt, and his contract with Anderlecht runs until 2029.
