Cédric Itten Transfer from Young Boys to Fortuna Düsseldorf
Fortuna Düsseldorf has reached an agreement with Cedric Itten, but the transfer is not yet completed due to a discrepancy in the transfer fee between BSC Young Boys and Fortuna Düsseldorf. BSC Young Boys demands 2.1 million EUR, while Fortuna Düsseldorf offers approximately 1.5 million EUR. The report comes from the 'Berner Zeitung'.
Fortuna Düsseldorf has reached a basic agreement with Cedric Itten for a transfer. However, an agreement with his current club, BSC Young Boys, is still pending. The Swiss club is demanding a compensation of two million euros, but Fortuna is working to lower the price to under 1.5 million euros.
Fortuna Düsseldorf is reportedly interested in acquiring Cédric Itten from BSC Young Boys. The German 2nd division club has made contact with the Swiss club about the 28-year-old striker, as reported by the Swiss newspaper 'Blick'. Itten, who has previous experience in German professional football, was loaned to SpVgg Greuther Fürth from Glasgow Rangers four years ago. During that loan period, he appeared in twelve matches and scored two goals before the loan was cut short in winter. Despite his experience, several other clubs have also shown interest in him. Since his return to Switzerland two and a half years ago, Itten has improved his performance, scoring twelve goals and providing five assists in 48 matches last season, although his performance has not always been consistently convincing.
