RSC Anderlecht has secured the transfer of Cedric Hatenboer, a 20-year-old Dutch midfielder, from Excelsior for the upcoming summer.

Marc Overmars, the sporting director of Royal Antwerp FC, expressed interest in Cedric Hatenboer and had him on his list for potential transfers. However, he was unable to secure the transfer as Anderlecht had already intensified negotiations with Excelsior.

Cedric Hatenboer is a potential winter signing for RSC Anderlecht. Although he is impressing at Excelsior in the Dutch second division, Anderlecht has made a bid of 2.5 million euros to acquire him. Other clubs like Royal Antwerp FC and PSV were also interested.

PSV Eindhoven is considering making a concrete move for Cedric Hatenboer, who is currently with Excelsior. However, he is reportedly more interested in joining Anderlecht due to better playing opportunities.
