Andrei Nicolescu stated that Cătălin Cîrjan has not yet signed a contract extension but they are set to meet and sign soon. Nicolescu also stated the new contract will be valid until June 2029 and will include a release clause of 5 million euros. Speaking on Monday evening at Prima Sport, Nicolescu specified that the extension will be for two more years, as Cîrjan had one and a half years remaining.
