Danish centre-forward Casper Tengstedt is in discussions with multiple clubs about a transfer and was not included in the squad for Feyenoord's recent derby against Sparta. Trabzonspor, PAOK Saloniki, and Seattle Sounders have been identified as three clubs with concrete interest, and there is also interest from the English Championship. Tengstedt's preference is reportedly a move to Turkey or Greece. Feyenoord wants a transfer fee close to the six million euros the club paid to sign him from Benfica a year ago, and it is expected that the club will cooperate on a solution. His contract with the Dutch club runs until June 2029, and his market value is €3.50m, according to Transfermarkt. He has been capped five times for the Denmark U21 team, scoring one goal. Hellas Verona reportedly declined to exercise a €7.0M purchase option on the player in May 2025, while his transfer from Rosenborg to Benfica in January 2023 was for a reported €9.5M.
