Sports Illustrated has named The Columbus Crew as one of three potential MLS destinations for Manchester United's Brazilian midfielder Casemiro, whose career at United appears to be concluding as his contract expires at the end of the season. A void exists in the Crew's midfield following Darlington Nagbe's retirement, and any potential deal for Casemiro would likely require him to sign as a non-designated player. According to reports, a move to MLS is considered the most probable outcome for the 33-year-old. There has also been interest from the Saudi Pro League, with Al Nassr, Al Ittihad, and Al Hilal linked. The midfielder joined United in August 2022, has 82 caps for Brazil, and has made 15 appearances and scored four goals in the Premier League this season. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €8.00m.
