Santos Laguna announced the termination of Carlos Gruezo's contract. The club terminated the contract of the 31-year-old Ecuadorian defensive midfielder, who had joined the club in January 2026. Gruezo has 65 caps and one goal for Ecuador and a current Transfermarkt market value of €1.00m.
