According to Globo.com, Brazilian forward Carlinhos has been transferred to Athletic Club. The 29-year-old forward has agreed to a move to Athletic Club for the remainder of the Série B do Campeonato Brasileiro. The player, who is owned by Flamengo, joins to reinforce Athletic Club's attack after a loan spell at Remo where he had limited opportunities. During his time at Remo this season, Carlinhos played in only six matches, all within the Campeonato Paraense, scoring one goal and providing one assist. His last game was in March. He had initially been signed by Flamengo in April 2024 following a notable performance for Nova Iguaçu in the Campeonato Carioca. His contract with Flamengo expires at the end of 2026. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is €900k.
