In London, Yıldırım will meet with executives from the English team and the 26-year-old player's manager. Bassey is capable of playing as a centre-back and a left-back, and he transferred to Fulham from Ajax in 2023 for a fee of €22.5 million. His contract with Fulham is valid until June 2027. He has earned 43 caps and scored one goal for the Nigerian national team. According to Transfermarkt, Bassey's current market value is €28 million.
