Bruno Rodrigues, a 28-year-old Brazilian forward for Palmeiras, is targeted for a loan by both Internacional and Cruzeiro for the next season. Zero Hora initially published Internacional's interest in the player, which was later confirmed by ESPN. Both interested clubs are in contact with the player's agent, but no formal offers have been submitted to Palmeiras. The request for his signing at Internacional comes from coach Paulo Pezzolano, who previously worked with Rodrigues at Cruzeiro. The Minas Gerais club is also considering the attacker's return because it needs alternatives for its attack ahead of the CONMEBOL Libertadores. Palmeiras is not seeking to transfer the player due to a recent act of indiscipline, but the club is open to a transfer because of the significant competition for his position and is also looking to sign new reinforcements for the attack. Rodrigues joined Palmeiras in January 2024, and his contract is valid until the end of 2028. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €1.50m.
