Bruno Onyemaechi is the subject of transfer discussions for Olympiacos. It is stated that the discussion for a transfer can only open if a proposal arrives that would lead to his departure. There is no current issue of a departure, and Onyemaechi remains on the Olympiacos roster and is still considered for the team's plans. Olympiacos does not intend to sell him solely to create a roster space; the situation will only change if a proposal arrives that is considered advantageous both financially and competitively. There was interest in Onyemaechi during the summer transfer window, but no offer was sufficient for Olympiacos's requirements. If a suitable proposal for Onyemaechi arrives and the circumstances for his departure are met, then Olympiacos may seek his replacement.

Left-backs have been proposed to Olympiacos on the condition that Bruno Oniemaechi is transferred, which seems extremely difficult.

Bruno Onyemaechi is for sale in the summer as Olympiacos has decided to renew its left-back position. Onyemaechi is under contract until 2028. If a Greek left-back is found, one of either Ortega or Bruno Onyemaechi may remain in the squad, but the other's role would be significantly reduced.

Bruno Onyemaechi's progress is being closely monitored by teams from Spain, Portugal, and France, which may increase competition for the 26-year-old Nigerian left-back. He joined his current club, Olympiacos, in January 2025 from Boavista for a reported fee of €2.5 million. Onyemaechi has since earned 25 caps for the Nigerian national team and has made 6 appearances in the Super League 1 in the 2025/26 season. His contract with the Greek club runs until June 2028, and Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €2.50m.
