Palmeiras has reached an agreement to sign 28-year-old goalkeeper Bruno Bertinato, who holds Brazilian and Italian citizenship, from Portuguesa for the 2026 season, with only bureaucratic steps remaining to formalize the transfer. He is set to join on an initial contract until the end of the season to strengthen the goalkeeping squad, as Kaique is close to a permanent move to Sporting in Portugal.
