Breno Bidon Transfer from Corinthians to Fenerbahçe
In the final days of the transfer window, Fenerbahçe from Turkey approached representatives of Corinthians' 20-year-old Brazilian central midfielder Breno Bidon to open negotiations, but the move was hindered by a career plan set by the player and the club. Both the player's agents and the club prefer a transfer in the middle of the year, following the European season, to allow for a project that starts from the beginning. Consequently, the European winter market was not considered an ideal time for a move. English teams such as Fulham and Wolverhampton have also been monitoring Bidon, though so far only medium-sized foreign clubs have made inquiries, with none of the interest being sufficiently strong. There is no urgency to negotiate a deal, as Corinthians anticipates that better proposals will arrive in the future, and the player is currently focused on performing well for the next six months to explore his options after the World Cup. Bidon, who has 11 caps and one goal for the Brazil U20 team, is under contract until the end of 2029. In the current 2025/2026 season, he has scored one goal in five appearances in the Campeonato Paulista and one goal in one appearance in Série A. His market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €14.00m.
