Branislav Niňaj, a 31-year-old Slovakian Centre-Back, has joined Skalica from Podbrezová on a loan agreement. Podbrezová made the announcement of the transfer on their website on a Tuesday. The general manager of Podbrezová, Miroslav Poliaček, stated for the club's website that they had indicated at the beginning of the preparation period that they wanted to provide other centre-backs with an opportunity. Poliaček confirmed that Skalica made the initial contact and that an agreement was reached for a six-month loan, with Niňaj remaining until the conclusion of the current season. Niňaj has earned 3 caps for Slovakia and has played in 11 matches in the Niké Liga during the 2025/2026 season. His market value is currently €300k.
