Lokomotiv Sofia has made an offer to Bulgarian attacking midfielder Bozhidar Kraev, who recently became a free agent after his two-year spell with Western Sydney Wanderers concluded. The new coach of the "Railwaymen," Lyuboslav Penev, is insistent that the club sign the 28-year-old midfielder, who is expected to return to Bulgaria after nine seasons abroad. Although Kraev and his family have offers to stay in Australia, they have reportedly told friends that a return to Europe is almost certain. If the midfielder does not find another foreign club, it is considered very likely that he will choose to join Lokomotiv. The international has 27 caps and 3 goals for Bulgaria and in the 2025/2026 A-League Men season, he made 25 appearances, scoring 5 goals and providing 2 assists.
