Bourama Diarra, a 26-year-old Malian left-back, has signed a two-year contract with US Thionville Lusitanos, a newly-promoted French Ligue 3 club. The player stated that a number of clubs were interested in him and specifically mentioned Entente Feignies-Aulnoye Football Club, Union Sportive Avranches Mont-Saint-Michel, Bourges FC, Biesheim, and US Créteil. Diarra also revealed that his former club, AS Furiani Agliani, was prepared to extend his contract, but he chose Thionville and signed a pre-agreement with them before going on vacation.
