Tuttomercato reports on Salernitana's acquisition of Borna Knezovic from Sassuolo. Salernitana has announced the acquisition of Borna Knezovic on a one-year loan from Sassuolo. The agreement is for a temporary transfer until June 30, 2026. Knezovic, a Croatian forward born in 2005, developed in the youth sector of Cibalia Vinkovci, a second division Croatian team. He moved to Italy in 2022 with Sassuolo, where he won the Primavera 1 title in 2024 and the Supercoppa in the last season.

Sassuolo and Salernitana have exchanged the necessary documents for the transfer of 19-year-old Croatian Borna Knezović. The offensive midfielder is expected to play on loan at Salernitana in the new season. The transfer was reported by Italian insider Lorenzo Lepore. Knezović's contract with Sassuolo runs until June 30, 2027. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is €800k. He had also been linked with Club Brugge and FSV Mainz 05.
