Following their promotion to the top division of the Ukrainian championship, Chornomorets from Odesa attempted to sign two players from Polissia. The Odesa club tried to negotiate a transfer for defensive midfielder Borel Tomandzotto and winger Denys Grishkevych. Polissia, known as 'the wolves', rejected the approach for both players. The coach of the Zhytomyr team, Ruslan Rotan, considers these footballers to be part of his plans and therefore refused to release them to Chornomorets.
