Bogdan Racovițan Transfer from Raków Częstochowa to Legia Warszawa
Legia Warszawa showed interest in Bogdan Racovițan, who is currently with Raków Częstochowa. However, Racovițan opted to remain with his current team. Although his contract with Raków Częstochowa was due to expire on June 30, with an option for a 12-month extension that the club did not utilize, Raków offered him a new three-year contract, which he is expected to sign this week. It was reported that Legia Warszawa proposed a salary of 400,000 EUR per season, exceeding his current earnings and what he would receive under the new Raków contract. Racovițan decided to stay with Raków to aid his recovery from a cruciate ligament injury he sustained last year, choosing an environment where he is familiar with the expectations. It was noted by "Gazeta Sporturilor" that negotiations became more complicated after Legia Warszawa's involvement. Furthermore, Racovițan has a connection with Legia's Gonçalo Feio, who previously served as an assistant coach at Raków.
