Independiente Santa Fe is managing negotiations with Billy Arce, who has just become a free agent after being discarded by Atlético Nacional. The Colombian press states that Billy Arce has become the main target for the club. Coach Pablo Repetto requested that Santa Fe president Eduardo Méndez handle the negotiations with Billy Arce. Pablo Repetto previously coached Billy Arce at Liga Deportiva Universitaria de Quito and followed his career during his time at Nacional.

Atlético Nacional confirmed that Billy Arce, a 27-year-old winger from Ecuador, will not continue at the club for the new semester. His current Transfermarkt market value is €450k.
