Trabzonspor has started negotiations with the representatives of 30-year-old Burkina Faso international winger Bertrand Traoré for a summer transfer. The Süper Lig club wants to strengthen its attack and is aiming to move quickly due to competition, as Traoré is a free agent after his contract with Sunderland ended. Discussions are reportedly progressing positively, but no agreement has been reached yet. Another club, Ajax Amsterdam, where Traoré has previously played, is also monitoring the situation and might take action if conditions become favourable. Traoré has 86 caps and 21 goals for his country and a current market value of €4.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
