According to talkSPORT journalist Ben Jacobs, Silva is also weighing up a move to Saudi Arabia on a free transfer and has been in on-off talks with Saudi dealmakers since 2023, when Al-Hilal made an offer worth around £500,000 per week. Sources in Italy have stated that while no formal approach has been made to Silva by Inter, the club is keeping a very close eye on the situation. Due to the Bosman ruling, Silva will be able to hold formal discussions with overseas clubs from January 1st and could pre-agree a contract. However, the finances of a deal could be problematic for Inter, as Silva is among Manchester City's highest earners with a weekly wage of around £300,000. According to Transfermarkt, the player's current market value is estimated at €38 million.
