Beşiktaş management, aiming to sign a goalkeeper for the next season, has made Altay Bayındır of Manchester United its main target and has also prepared a contingency plan. If an agreement with Bayındır cannot be reached, the first alternative identified is Turkish international Berke Özer, who plays for Lille. The technical staff has approved the potential transfer of the 25-year-old, and Beşiktaş will make an offer to him if the deal for Altay fails. Beşiktaş aims to sign one of the two domestic goalkeepers by the end of the season. Özer moved to the French club from Eyüpspor at the beginning of the season for a fee of 4.5 million Euros. The goalkeeper has two caps for Türkiye, a contract with Lille until 2029, and has made 25 appearances in Ligue 1 this season. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €10.00m.
