Bento Transfer from Al Nassr to Genoa

Genoa has made an offer for Bento Matheus Krepski, a 26-year-old Brazilian-Italian goalkeeper who plays for Al Nassr. Bento had previously communicated to his club his dream of playing in Europe and his desire to leave in the winter. Italian clubs have been following his profile. Genoa had also followed Perin and Mandas but was unable to reach an agreement for either player. It is mentioned that Al Nassr is considering finding another goalkeeper. In 2024, before he accepted the offer from Saudi Arabia, Bento stated that European football is different from Brazilian and South American football. He said that the best players in the world play in Europe, which means European football is the best in the world. He stated his dream of playing in Europe, which he said every player has, and that it will be natural if it happens. He also said that if an offer arrives, he will think carefully about his future. He added that it is by playing that one gets into the national team, and if he leaves Brazil to go to Europe, he wants to continue playing to stay in the national team. The decision is probably motivated by not wanting to lose his place at the World Cup, which will be held in Canada, the United States, and Mexico in the summer. Bento joined Al-Nassr in July 2024, and his contract is valid until June 2028, but he has made only one appearance in the Saudi Pro League this season. The goalkeeper has six caps for Brazil and has also been linked with Inter and Milan. His current market value, according to Transfermarkt, is €9.00m. A November 2025 report stated Al Nassr's asking price is between €10 million and €12 million. The club paid a reported €18 million for his transfer in 2024.
