Benedikt Pichler Transfer from Holstein Kiel to Hannover 96
Benedikt Pichler is on the verge of joining Hannover 96. Sources from Kicker have indicated that he is nearing the completion of his transfer to the team. The transfer fee is believed to be up to one million euros, including potential future bonuses. Pichler, who hails from Salzburg, has been part of Holstein Kiel since 2021, participating in both the Bundesliga and 2. Liga. The Austrian forward, previously contracted with Holstein Kiel until 2027, made his first professional move abroad from Austria Wien to Holstein Kiel, which was then a second division club. During his time there, he scored 18 goals in 59 appearances in the 2. Liga and achieved his only Bundesliga goal in a 2-2 draw against Bochum last September. Pichler is set to become Hannover's second attacking addition following the signing of Finnish international Benjamin Källman, who transferred to the club from Cracovia on a free transfer.
