Dutch goalkeeper Beau Reus is expected to move to Hearts as a free agent after his contract with SK Beveren expired. Reus, who contributed to Beveren's promotion last season, chose not to extend his stay with the club. It was reported that other teams, including Werder Bremen, Malaga, and Elche, had registered their interest in the player, but Hearts' pursuit of him was the most determined. Reus has travelled to Edinburgh to complete an agreement with the Scottish club, which is managed by Wouter Vrancken, and the discussions are at an advanced stage.
