Turkish club Göztepe was among numerous teams interested in goalkeeper Beau Reus, who became a free agent after his time with SK Beveren. The 24-year-old Dutch player attracted significant interest from across Europe. In addition to Göztepe, other clubs that showed interest included Auxerre, Serie A sides Lecce and Genoa, Anderlecht, Werder Bremen, as well as multiple other clubs from the Eredivisie, Belgium, and the Bundesliga. Despite the widespread attention, Reus has chosen a move to Scotland, where he will sign a three-year contract with Hearts.
