According to Sky Germany, Liverpool have formally expressed their interest in signing Bazoumana Toure in the summer transfer window and Hoffenheim has been officially informed. The Ivorian international's contract with TSG Hoffenheim runs until 2029 and does not include a release clause. Sky Germany reports that a sale this summer currently appears likely. Hoffenheim's plan is to make Toure their new record departure. Sporting director Andreas Schicker told Sky Germany that the club are open to selling the winger, but only for a club-record fee. Schicker added that any interest must be for a fee of a size that Hoffenheim have not seen before.

Bazoumana Toure is planning to move this summer. Hoffenheim are planning to make him their record sale for a fee between €45m and €50m.

TSG Hoffenheim's sporting director, Andreas Schicker, stated to 'Sky' that Bazoumana Touré would only be considered for sale for a substantial offer that would need to be at a record level for the club. He also noted that Touré has particularly attracted the interest of FC Liverpool. The previous record sale for Hoffenheim was Joelinton, who was transferred to Newcastle United in 2019 for 43.5 million euros.
