According to portal Legia.net, Michał Żewłakow stated in a conversation with club media that Legia Warszawa wants to extend the contract with Bartosz Kapustka, a 29-year-old Polish attacking midfielder. Żewłakow explained that the club would like to extend contracts with those who want to play in Warsaw and that Bartosz Kapustka is among the options they will fight and discuss with. Kapustka's contract expires on June 30, 2026, and he joined Legia Warszawa in August 2020. In 17 appearances during the 2025/2026 Ekstraklasa season, he has recorded one goal and two assists. The midfielder has been capped 21 times by Poland, has a current market value of €1.50m according to Transfermarkt, and has been linked with Korona Kielce and Cracovia Kraków.
